One .exe. It installs to Program Files with a Start-menu shortcut. The app checks for a new release once a day. Press Download the update, then Restart to update, right inside the app.

Microsoft Store and winget
Microsoft signs the package, so there is no warning to click past, and Windows keeps it updated. Install from the Store page or paste the command above into PowerShell.
Scoop or a portable zip
Rather not install? Unzip and keep both files together, or use Scoop for the app and the CLI. Every file and its release notes are on GitHub Releases.
Pick one channel and stay with it
The Store copy and the installer copy are two separate Aetox apps on the same machine, with separate settings, history, memory and keys. To switch channels, uninstall the old one first.
Aetox in the terminal
The Code desk as a full-screen console: type aetox in any project folder, watch the work land above the input, answer approvals in place. A separate installer from the app: it goes into your own user folder, adds itself to PATH, needs no administrator rights, and is not in the Microsoft Store.
Open a new terminal after installing and type aetox · remove it from Settings → Apps → Aetox CLI · not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen asks once
If you do not like it
Uninstall from Windows Settings like any other app. Nothing runs in the background afterwards and nothing is left behind. Your conversations and output folders are plain files you can keep or delete.
MOBILE
Keep working from your phone.
Watch answers stream in live with every tool step, see every chat sorted by project, open delivered files full screen, pick the model and answer approvals. Or talk to the same assistant through Telegram or Discord. Windows still runs the work and keeps your data; provider keys never leave the PC.
Needs Aetox for Windows 1.9.28 or later (it carries Aetox Link) and Tailscale with HTTPS on the PC and the phone. Keep Windows and Aetox running. Start on the PC: Settings › Mobile, wait for the three Tailscale checks to turn green, press Let my phone connect, and a pairing QR appears.

- Install Tailscale on the phone and sign in to the same account as the PC.
- Download the APK below and open it. Android asks once to allow installs from your browser.
- Open Aetox Mobile, scan the QR on the PC, then press Allow on the PC.
Android 10 or later. The app finds a newer APK on your PC and updates in one tap.
iPhone · web app, no App Store
- Install Tailscale from the App Store and sign in to the same account as the PC.
- Point the Camera at the QR on the PC. Safari opens your PC's address; press Allow on the PC.
- In the web app open Settings › Install › Download iPhone Web Clip, then iPhone Settings › Profile Downloaded › Install. Or in Safari: Share › Add to Home Screen.
There is no IPA. The profile adds only this full-screen web app (no VPN, MDM or certificate), is made for your own PC's address and can be removed in Settings › General › VPN & Device Management. Updates arrive with Aetox for Windows.
